This week’s prompts are at the bottom.
Practice makes perfect. Let me know what you think.
Belinda, Melinda, Lucinda, and Hillary decided to celebrate their high school graduation with a dinner together. They pooled, and then counted, their money before deciding to go to the Lotaburger in Old Town because they had enough money for each of them to get a burger, some fries and a coke. It was also right across the street from the Hotel Albuquerque.
At their ten year reunion the girls met at Pa’ Comerte, located in the Hotel Albuquerque, because the drinks were cheap, there were lots of cute guys who went there, and they didn’t have a cover charge.
When the twentieth reunion rolled around, Belinda suggested they dine at Pa’ Comerte. She pointed out that it had a wonderful atmosphere, good service and if they went after the reunion there shouldn’t be too many screaming babies.
For the thirtieth they argued back and forth through email about where they should have dinner. They compromised on Pa’ Comerte. Hillary was OK with the idea, even though it wasn’t hers, because they had great Margaritas and younger waiters they could flirt with.
At their fortieth reunion Lucinda suggested Pa’ Comerte for dinner. She said it had worked out OK the last time, the prices were reasonable and, the wine list was intriguing. The air conditioning also worked well there so if any of them were subject to hot flashes it wouldn’t be so evident.
Fifty years came around and for their high school reunion the four friends selected Pa’ Comerte for dinner. They agreed that the lighting was good and Melinda said that there was an Early Bird Special there.
For their sixtieth reunion the girlfriends decided to go to Pa’ Comerte. It had become something of a tradition for them, there was valet parking, and the restaurant was handicapped accessible.
When it was almost time for the seventieth extravaganza, they agreed on Pa’ Comerte because none of them had ever been there before. They had a wonderful time catching up.
