OLWG #207- Micro-Poems of Love

This week’s prompts are at the bottom. Feel free to seize the prompts, twist them, form them, play with them as you will. All comers are welcome. The words below are just practice for me. I had a lot of fun writing them and, practice makes perfect.

Here’s how to play along, if you are unsure.

Haiku

A Southwestern Sky

Stereoscope stars, a dark, dry

California Red

Tanka

The dark moon, hidden

The dry red wine in my glass

The scent of my love

The taste- she tastes of yearning

The stars vow- eternity

American Sentence

Entwined beneath a New Mexico sky, they each taste the other’s love.

This week’s prompts are:

  1. kick up your heels
  2. a barroom in New Orleans
  3. every week

You can start writing whenever you want, just write, get the words down – and have fun!
