OLWG #128- Thoughts on American Business Acumen 2019

This week’s prompts are at the bottom.
Practice makes perfect.

Here’s how to play along, if you are unsure.

Find delight in the shortcomings of your colleagues and friends.
Rejoice in their failures.

Knowledge is power.
Never share it.

Encourage discourse about the mistakes of your friends and coworkers.
Exploit every opportunity to chime in and contribute to the discussion.

Leap at any opportunities that promise high risk.
Success will prove you a winner, against all odds; lack of success will be excused because it was a high risk endeavor.

Take credit whenever possible, even if undeserved.

Demean your subordinates in front of their peers.
It helps with motivation and builds morale.

Never allow an endangered species to stand between you and your goal.

This week’s prompts are:

  1. beach city camp meeting
  2. dog me down
  3. a spider in the tub

  1. Go ahead and dive in, set your imagination free!
    Write something
Ready, Set, Go – you have 25 minutes, but if that is not possible, take as long as you need and, have fun!

  1. Exactly why I have stayed in non-committal easily replaced employment my entire working life. Can’t be bothered with any of the above. nope. I prefer to just punch out and move on.. this weeks prompts look formidable..

  2. I actually read it as a political commentary. And, now I’m seeing a spider in the tub wearing a sparkly blue bikini. Thanks for that 😉

  3. You should relocate that spider to the shore, or perhaps a nearby swimming pool. Post some photos first though. I’m sure lots of people would be interested!
